You may already have a database in Access and want us to migrate it to say SQL Server.

Not only that but we will, where possible, provide source code to enable you to make future modifications. This will not only afford a level of protection against the risk of Manick Solutions not being in business in years to come but will also provide you with complete flexibility to hire another company, or yourself make further changes to the system in the future should you choose to do so!

Our development approach

On larger projects we take an iterative approach to the development process.

This means that after our initial consultation with you to agree an outline of the project we will then produce a very basic system or framework that performs some core functionality.

We will then produce regular updates to the system gradually adding all the functionality that you require. These regular updates can be hosted on our virtual servers and made available for you to review via the Internet.

This allows both parties to be clear about the requirements and to ensure that the system meets expectations.

Another key benefit of this approach is that it allows you as the customer to monitor the progress and provide rapid feedback to us at key stages throughout the development process. Changing requirements are therefore embraced - whether due to an incomplete understanding of the problem domain or due to changing business requirements, they can be incorporated much more smoothly than with the traditional approach to development. The traditional approach calls for a complete and thorough analysis and a detailed list of requirements and deliverables before any coding begins.
